The parade of the ’Heinzelmaennchen’ (brownies) is reminiscent of old times. Catchy naive motifs prompt the listener to sing along, move to the rhythm and wallow in memories. Extremely popular in post-war Germany and frequently played even today, this music carries you off into the coffee houses of the 1920s. It is part of the standard repertoire of each spa and salon orchestra still today.
