A fantastic transcription of one of Dvorak’s most-beloved Slavonic Dances – Op72, No 4. Its 3/8 melodic motif surfaces in different parts, requiring each person to listen, balance and play independently. Dramatic dynamic changes and tempo shifts add to the arrangement’s expressive zeal. Flugel horn, piccolo and contrabass are used tastefully, while timpani are the only percussion instruments employed.
